NON PAS rack

   right on my quiksilver removed the pas pump already ages ago still got the pas rack and ram on. Which tbh is a tad heavy, going to convert it properly, so which non pas rack do I need and do I need anythign else?
   
   Would one from an ax work?

   If you take the ram off it'll be as light as non pas. having pas top mount orientation makes it harder to steer.

   pas racks are basicaly a quick rack, i think if you wanna fit a non pas rack you need to change the steering colum to?

   the gearing is the same, the amount of lock is what differs.

   does that mean if you remove the ram from the top then it will be a non power steering rack?

   Gav if you do get arround to fitting a non pas rack you will need to swap the steering column as they are longer
