is it just the usual primer, paint and lacquer job for them?
    thanks

You'll need to take the surface of the plastic off then use a plastic primer and then the usual paint, lacquer. This will give you a spot on job!!!!

sand them down using 1200 wet first mate

TBH, aslong as u pick up the right colour from halfauds they should match, theyve never let me down b4 n ive used them a few times aslong as u know wat u want. You probably havnt sanded it enough and its giving off a dogey reflection! or uve laid the laqure on 2 much

theres defintly a nakc to spraying mate... did u let the primer dry long enough, have u let the paint set etc then polished it?

would the double sided foam used for number plates be enough to hold these in place?
along with some super glue round the edges?

needs to be stuck down in a way that it looks flat (doesnt appear sticking higher)

    1mm pads
might just get some superglue tbh
    much easier

i've got the caps in the garage drying now with the last coat of primer so they'll be on sooner then the tyres
im just wondering about the lip, i wonder what a white/silver lip would look like on it
