Lots of water in the footwell of my car?

    Right,

    Went out to my car this morning on my way to work and I notice there is lots of water in my footwell, a stupid amount.

    Where the fook will this be coming from, I have been trying to work it out but can't see any where, does any one have any ideas.

    Maybe, but I checked the top/front of the footwell and it appears dry.

    The only part that is wet is the front passenger footwell and the footwell behind it.

    I had this problem, and found it to be the black surround around the sunroof, got it took off, siliconed and bakc on with ti and never had any other problems

    UNTILL

    I ripped all the interior out and under the pedals the sound deadning was socking to the point where it was just ripping! could nto be bother to sort it so just left it for now lol but have bene told it could be coming in from the scuttle panel where the drain holes could be blocked...

    Hvae also heard about mirror base plates leaking is, aswell as rear windows

    Well after searching last night to find the problem it appears to be coming in from under the car. There are, which looks like littl buttons which come from inside the car to floor of the car and now the water is dripping from there.

    Any one have any ideas of how I can sort this or had this problem before?

    Also I removing & refitting the carpet a hard job?

    I manage to work out what mine was aswell...

    The car has a seal that is under the glass from the sunroof missin'.

    Now I've rang up my local peugeot dealer and they've said it £36 + vat for the seal so I'm on the hunt now to see how much a second sunroof is...

    I have no idea on how to solve the problem of where your water is coming from!

    But can let yo no that taking the carpet out is easy peasy just need to romve the seats, centre console and seat belt holders and your away, altho you do have to cut it under wherre your radio goes as there is a metal bar there, which is a big fart on to remove!!!

    I cut mine and dont worrie you cant see unless you get on ya hands and knees and look under there.... just make sure you do a nice clean cut
