de-cat mot time?

   i know this is a bit of a long shot but i have a mk2 vtr and i rly wana get a new manifold (decat it) but im not very mechanincal so i dnt wana swap over to the standard one come MOT time. so i woz wonderin if anyone maybe knew of a garage in the sussex sort of area that might take a sly bung lol?
   
   as i said i know its a long shot but any help appreciated.

   yeah i know but trust me places do do it. i just dont know any near me.

   tbh mate, you don't need to be mechanically minded to swap over a manifold, its easy enough. Im sure someone round your way would happily give you a hand fitting and taking it off etc.

   Wouldn't take the chance of getting to the test center and them refusing or failing it.
   I'd just change them over beforehand, can't be much to it can there?

   why dont you put your old manifold in the boot and sub the mot guy some cash to swap them over for you...and back again?

   mate its literrally undoing like 8 nuts slide off n put the new one n swap the connecters over. If u can open a Jam jar you can do this.
