Engine dies

    Hi all,

    I have a 2001 vtr that seems to have a problem idleing.
    Most of the time it is fine but some times when it is just ticing over it runs out of revs and cuts out.

    Any ideas????

    might be the coil, the spark plugs, or the coolant temp sensor.

    coilpack,sparks,idlevalve,battery,alternator,fuel filter....cud b 1 or all!or sumthin else!!

    i changed my coilpack and sparks n things wer a lot better - sumtimes treat her to a nice fill up of optimum fuel rather than cheap shit.

    its a common problem with saxos mate, nowt to worry about! little embarrassing with music on and ur engines cut out on ya! car dont go no wher without the engine running as i found out at a busy juntion 1 day

    its a common problem that shouldnt happen. shitroen should have had a recall or summin!!! pissed off with my car! lol. spent loads - no change, its worse than ever now, drinking petrol too!

    thats what i was thinking! but its gonna cost if i do that tho! and im v broke at the mo! ha ha
