jve just put a new head on my vts ran it and the temp gauge went into the red so i thought beeter check the water pump also had a new thermostat this is also fine could it be a faulty sender fan switch or something else

the fan kicks in when you turn it off but not always and the fan doesnt kick in before the the temp gauge goes into the red and the the blower inside doesnt blow out any warm air either any ideas

just done this on my vtr.

at the back of the engine near the windyscreen there a pipe with what looks like a dust cap, undo it (i did while the engine was running) then the water level will drop in the rad, keep filling it up till the water come outa the bleed nipple, the simply whack the dust cap back on, then fill rad to require amount.

That's how you bleed it! Let out the steam(air) till water comes out then shut the valve!

its alive followed the steps in the manual after buying 1 and the car works a treat now and it gets so warm in the cabin aswell the only problem i had was when i put the car on fast idle the clifford alarm locked the doors with the keys in so i disconnected the battery and it still ran so i unplugged the cil pack to stop the engine then i had to disconnect the batt and use the spare fob to open the doors d,oh
