Lowering my car!! Help??

    Right,

I have got a 2001 VTR Ph2, have had it for 9 months and was going to get rid of it, but have just decided to keep it, mainly due to the fact that i kinda love the fecking thing.

I fancy modifying it a bit now, really fancy sticking on some VTS alloys and then lowering it.

Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere to get this done? I dont want to SLAM it, only want about 30-40mm, not sure yet.

    Cheers

basically if your mechanically minded then you can give the whole thing a go yourself (as many people on here have) which will save a bit. or you can pay a garage/member to do it for you. As you probably no the rear just needs the torsion bar taken out and adjusting (which can be a tight barstard if its seized as ive heard. The front you can go the cheap way and just get springs(£50-100) or the expensive way and the full suspension kit (£200 - 300). internets really your best option

Just ring around local garages, or have a word with any guys you know locally, or have a browse in your 'regional area' section - and someone will probably be able to sort you out.

40mm drop looks tidy, will be find with standard shocks as well if your a bit tight for cash or just want to spend monies on the VTS wheels

has to be 40-50mm imo any lower or higher does'nt suit it imo, however there are some minters that are lower
