#5thanks to all of you for your reply's and i am going to check that thread out now.i took car back to garage i brought it from [only had it 1 month]and they said it was the idle valve' so they said they had fixed it and showed me the old one so i thought it would be sorted untill on the way back when it started warming up it was still the same. so dont know whether they changed it or its not the idle valve.i have got it booked in tomorrow for full service and to be lowered 40mm so i will get them to look at it thanks again guys.

#7just like to say a big thanks to the people who tryed to help me solve me problem. it was green coolant sensor the one for the ecu not temperture gauge.if anyone else has same problem try taking plug off green coolant sensor then try it. my car sounds and drives perfect now with plug off got to get one tomorrow.if anyone does take plug off to test drive make sure you warm car up before you drive.its to do with engine thinking that it is colder than it is and it puts choke in. also runs very rich'not sayin this is answer to every revving problem but its worth a try first as i had my car booked in at citroen monday coming to change idle valve which is 80to100£ so saved a bit of money as green sensor only round about tenner. my car was idling very irratic all the while now its ok sorted......big up the saxo's
