Manifold, Exhaust questions...

Hi, im thinking of getting a whole new exhaust system from GSM. I get confused with whats actually needed. I have a cat which i want to be able to put back on the car when it comes round to the MOT so the system has to incorperate this!

I have a mk2 VTS btw. The CAT isnt in the manifold, its an undercar CAT.

Am i right in thinking i need a new manifold, decat pipe and back box and thats it? Then i just swap the cat with the decat pipe for its mot?

Or is there any more pipes underthere im missing!

Also any recomendations on which ones are best performance wise would be helpful

if you want to decat it then all you need is a decat pipe. This will be swapable come MOT time.

You dont "need" anything else but your exhaust system would go like this (from engine to back of car) Manifold>CAT>Centre section>backbox.
