Bleeding coolant question

Right then i have read many guides and there all seem to be the simalar but once you have opened all the bled points do you run the engine wheil you bleed it or blled it first and close points then run?

fill expantion tank to top with anti freeze and watef 50% each leave cap off run engine bubbles with come up through the tank keep refilling squeeze coolant pipes to speed proccess up!

the way i did it which worked was run the car for 5 mins to warm up. then bleed it from the following three points

1) on the top of the radiator to the right there is a small black twist/screw cap, undo that until a bit of coolant comes out then do it back up.
2) then move to the centre of the engine bay on the mount between the engine and the air filter pipe, it is either a screw or an allen key
3) the last bleeding point is to the far back left of the engine bay behind and that is either a screw or allen key too.

bleed all of them till coolant starts to come out. then top up your coolant.
Warning the coolant maybe hot so use plyers to open 1) and a rag over the others to stop you getting sprayed with it
