has anyone put a selanoid on their boot to open it? if so what selanoid did you use and how did you wire it in?
also did you use the rear wiper switch? if so how?

I have used them on all types of cars, they are straight forward to use and fit and you could use any switch, personally I prefer a push button though as that way it closes the circuit straight away and you havn't got to remember to switch it off!

Should have asked me yesterday Nij...
I run one... Not that hard really... Only problem with mine is that it won't close to like, lock the boot... I have to pull the mechanism manually to make it work...

When you shut the boot if it has been set up correctly should return the piston into the solenoid. There should be no need to return this manually, well worth a look at or could need setting up a bit closer to the lock in order for it to work correctly.
