I have been thinking about getting one for a long time. my mate put one on his already fooked fiesta and it didnt seem to do much damage while it was on.

any way i was wondering do they do much damage if only used some times like 3, 1/4 sprints? also whats a sensibly jet to have it running? for these 3 sprints?

    50bhp jet.

Get it installed by a pro and get shown how to use it properly and it wont fuck up your engine. Will just reduce its longetivety.

ok cheers, will rep ya both in a sec, so if you just use a 50 jet with 10/11lb bottle, its not really going to harm the engine unless used all the time?

Get it fitted by WON. As long as the AFR is ok then it wont do any damage.

I was advised not to hit the limiter as it causes a missfire and unburnt n2o is bad when it next fires.

I ran a 50bhp jet for a LONG time and never had a problem.

I had NOS on a Mk1 MR2 once, it was quite good fun but doesn't last any time at all.

Having done that, just to give you the other side of the story, I'd *never* use it on a road car. The idea of a £600+ kit which costs £35 a bottle to fill up which lasts about 6 minutes.... if you only have 1 hour a YEAR that's £1000 you've spent. For that you've got ECU, Cams, and exhaust Manifold - which will give you around 25-35bhp but will do it *all the time*.

NOS is good for the strip but IMHO (and other opinions vary!!!) and experience not worth it for the road....
