    whats a good amp to run 2 12inch 1000w subs? price range 100 - 130 - i was thinking this http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...cts_id/380.htm l or something similar...

ive got my headunit and im getting my 17 cm alpine speakers with tweeters and cross overs for the front and 13cm aplines with tweeters for the back, which i will have to run from my headunit until i can afford another amp,.

would it not be better to keep it all apline or is mix and matching okay

actually wtf am i talking about i keep thinkin this is for the speakers not the subs.

i have fitted a few of the kenwood amps and they are great and can give 2 subs a good beating also the up front bass control is great as if you dont want any bass and you dont have a sub out on your head unit you can still just turn the bass off.

cool, so is it better to have just one channel amp for subs and wire em 2gether?
  9. #9
yes as it is very hard with 2 amps or a 4 channel amp to get the subs running on the same power as the mono amps only have the control for the 1 channel so both the subs will be running at the same power.
