    do a search man lol
  3. #3
yeah had a look, nobody has any pics of a fitted one, well not that i could find anyway
  4. #4
    halfords do them

not as good as their older brother the CDA or else everyone would buy them
  5. #5
they are as good performance wise as the CDA.. the filter is of the same quality and they work the same inside.

The difference is the outer casing (which is plastic vs the carbon covering on the CDA) but this only effects the costs for the better.

They were good enough for the C2 cup cars

    i prefer BMC CDA's myself
  12. #12
I think I'd rather have a carbon look one or a Green enclosed.
  13. #13
yeah but as Kam says, your paying mor for the fact its carbon? if they are no different performance wise i cant see the point!?
i have a CDA on my bedroom floor, but its the 1.8 upwards model, i did a trial fit and tbh its too fuckin big lol

Its either the DIA or the Raceland with Green i think...

personally I'd have the cheaper DIA over the CDA .. spend the money saved on other mods.

dead easy to fit as well

Yeah im really tempted to get one from your site.. could you put the correct silicone hose in for me if i did this?? i will pay the cost, but im not sure what pipe i need to fit it to a VTR 98bhp model.

Im not knocking the performance of it,
just looks a hell of a lot better with a carbon skin..

Dont buy one at all imo,
panel filter in standard airbox, leave it at that.

i used the bigger version of the DIA on my saxo and fitted/worked fine, pretty gutted now though as i originally bought a CDA at the time and ended up re-selling as this was for above 1.6's only to find it would of fitted anyway

the induction wont do anything else for you other than noise.

    even then,
when I had a BMC with a cold air feed it was just as quiet as a standard airbox.

    no probs

Hmm, i dunno surely most people would say maximise airflow with a forced induction kit rather than keep a panel filter??

there are the benefits to be had of a shorter and less convoluted induction set up also.

as long as you get a good cold air feed it will be superior to the o/e induction
