performance cams

    I own a 2002 vtr and have already upgraded to a full decatted sports exhaust and enclosed induction kit but now want performance cams seen kent cams but need to know if my model is the roller or non roller type cams and are kent cams any good.

    its a roller cam as the black top TU was a non roller. Unless uve fitted an ax gt head to the vtr block lol very tempting but id say yes deffo roller type

    what would be the benefits of fitting a ax gt head to a vtr, how easy is it to do?

    just another quick question why is the roller type cam kit 215 quid but the non roller is 399. why such a big difference in price, got them prices from larkspeed.com

    hey pal ive got a piper 270 cam for roller rocker TU series

    should be a nice improvement in power but not mess around with the idle much at all

    I dont know that much about cams like wot all the different numbers mean lol so can any1 tell me if the piper 270 cams from a westcoast will fit a vtr silvertop and would they make much improvement

    id have a piper 285. the numbers are just the models, each differing in lift duration etc. not enough aggressive profile and the gains may not be great, too aggresive then other changes need making
