Suspension Probs

   Right bought my new SPAX 40mm complete suspension kit , fitted today and only just gone for a drive now - lots of knocking noises now. A friend thinks ur meant to put grease on the bottom and top of spring when fitting is this the case or what could be the prob ?

   Could it be that now you have lowered it there is more strain on parts that may already be starting to wear quickly ie ball joints and driveshafts, how many miles the car done?

   did the exhaust yesterday before the suspension so may be exhaust knocking dont know
