hey all i need some help. im thinking about getting a camshaft and kit and an adjustable pulley. im getting a garage to fit it as its beyond me, but is there anthing else i will need to get first? also do i need to get it remapped ect? anyone know where the best place to get them from? im after a fast road cam.

#6it really depends on what cam you choose as to whether you need a remap.
Some mild cams don't though usually to get the best performance its a good idea.
No doubt you want something a bit more fruity though so a remap is usually needed.
The parts you need will be determined by your cam profile. A lot of fast road cams will use standard followers etc... -

#7cheers peeps. ive got a scorpion cat back and a k&n air filter but ill be ordering a manifold and raceland tommorow (payday
). just wondered about the cams as its got 57000 on it and i was going to get the cambelt changed soon. thought about doing it all in one go.
