Tuning help

    Hi, want help to tune my VTR without messin it up! already got a K+N induction kit, but now im lost! lookin to spend 200 to 300 quid on it at most, so any ideas of what BHP increase I can get for this? Im an aircraft mechanic so ive got a vague idea what goes on, but any help is appreciated!

    your filter will prob be decreasing performance as its an open filter. see stickys

    a second hand exhaust and manifold, maybe put original filter back on with a replacement panel filter

    you need to remove all the restrictive parts of your car

    first is to get rid of the manifold cat and exhaust system then choosing the best fastest way to get the coolest possible air in (enclosed induction kit[raceland, Green])

    then its camshafts and flow rate of the haed and valves

    then the standard intake must be improved via throttle bodies or forced induction (turbo[big power] and supercharger [pretty big power,better on track of the 2 forced types])

    I'd reiterate some of the above. Best to fit a manifold next
