    Citroen AX 3dr.

    We want to know what engine will directly fit (2.0 16v pref)
    Also What engine (2.0 16v pref) would go in with engine mounts moved???

    Going to need to fabricate everything iirc no 2.0 will directly fit.

    To get a vts to fit you have to grind back engine mounts lol

    Biggest easy engine is the saxo/106/c2 1.6 16 valve.
    Any bigger engines are a job and a half!

    Yea init, that proberbly doesent even include the engine or maped ecu.. etc

    how much would you do it for then? Ild rather do it myself as its a project.

    Without looking into it further i could not give a 100% price, but expect about £1800-£2200

    yea see i wudnt pay more than 1k to fit an engine, it might be a bit off work but at the end off the day its only cutting and welding to be done. I will probs doo the loom myself as im an electrician.

    At £35-£55 an hour garage labour soon builds up, hense the high charges of some companies.

    Looms are easy but time consuming, again, hense the cost.

    when i look in the bay of my gti-6 everythin looks soo damn tight where does it all go in an AX shell lol

    vts engine is a tight fit in ax, let along anything bigger than a 1600.
