Fuel return hose

#2only the VTS has a return hose.
-
#3So I would need to plumb one in to put a vts engine into my vtr?
-
#4Yes, ideally.
The fuel return hose runs alongside the hose from fuel tank to engine. All you'd need to do is put a length of fuel hose with it - and alter a few bits on the fuel tank (As you'll have a fuel return on your tank, including the FPR) whereas the vts has the FPR on the fuel rail. -
#5or just put a short length of pipe on the return side and block it up with a bolt and jubilee clip.
not pretty, but does the trick -
#6i have heard that some people experienced running problems with blocking the return hose? I myself have had no problems doing so.
-
#7I heard rumours about it not running right with it blocked up but . . . . . who knows unless they try both. Might be worth blocking it up, seeing how it runs, then maybe put the return line in if it runs like a dog.Quote:i have heard that some people experienced running problems with blocking the return hose? I didn't want to risk it when i did my 16v conversion, as wouldn't know if it was running dodgy because of it, or anthing else; so decided to run the return line, was only my time and it's free so thought may as well. -
#8ran fine on mine even running throttle bodies
