Lol at motorsave

    Some guy from Motorsave the other day tried to tell me that lowering the rear torsionbars over 20mm will make the handling drastically worse, is there any truth in this? i thought it was a load of bollocks but hes got me wondering now.

    Load of bollocks if you have the front done too

    not 20mm no, but if you go very low, i.e. 60-80mm or more then yes. the handling will be crap.

    for the best handling you want to lower the car between 25 and 40 mm on the rear and about 35-40 mm on the front.

    ok well i've lowered it 40 at the front and the arches look balanced but you can see from the clearance undernear that the back is higher so i was maybe going to drop the back 40mmish, would that be ok?
