If you are getting them pro fitted mate, say you dont want any rubbing. They should be able to sort archwork.
If then they do rub, obviously you wont have got what you payed for , so take it back.
Will look great lowered about 30/40mm.
Nice set of rims those aswell.

id say geta 40 tyre.falken do a 205/40/17 and the outside tyre wall is slanted so you get less pubbing.if your getting arches done you should be ok.could look at getting 195/40/17 tyres like ive got, which help prevent rubbing, especially full lock but not many companies do these and their bit more expensive.pirelli and toyo.

right im thinking of goin 16" now with a 45 tyre. will this look gd with a 45mm drop and torsion bar to match guys?

I'm down 40mm on 195/45/16's, as you can see below.
But if you were to go for 16's, it would be better to go for 195/40 profiles, as this will cause you less hassle in the long run.
I've had to have a fair amount of arch work done to get them to not rub.
Whereas with the 40 profile you can go very low, with none or very little archwork.

Danvtr_9 is down 60mm on his 40/16's and I think he has had to remove liners and that it!

Dan removed three of his arch liners, one of them is still on! no idea why though! think he said he's pretty sure he could've got away with leavin them in.

gets horridly dirty up the inside of the inner wing with no front liners though.

how much did it cost you to have the black parts ov ya car colour coded to silver?
  11. #11
God knows mate, I had ALOT done at the same time.
But I'd estimate a competent bodyshop would charge between £150 and £250 for a good colour coding job.
  12. #12
mmm cos im thinking about havin that done but it depends on the cost

Prob best to get onto your local bodyshop and ask matey.

Should be around the £200 mark! As for the wheels i have 17" and if i was honest i would say go for 16's as they look the nuts and very little arch work is needed!
