im thinking about doin a colour change on my interior with the spray you can buy.

bin told that i will need:
    cleaner
    colour
    sealant/lacquer

    this right?

plus how much can i expect to do with one can of colour? in all, i want my centre console, heater vents and speaker covers (front doors).

    cheers

you'll need to key the surface with sandpaper first, and you might want some wet+dry paper to smooth off any rough bits after your first coat of primer.

one big can is plenty nuff mate, the interior door pulls and steering colum surround look sweet colour-coded aswell, require a bit more sanding though

bit of a hijack here! but does anybody know how to get the dash dials surround out?. i can see its held in with four screws, but i cant get to the bottom two ....any tips?

I removed my dash a few weeks ago to look at the dials. Those bottom two screws are pretty difficult to get to. The way I did it was to get a really short screwdriver - there's basically no way to get a straight line of sight to the screwheads with a longer one. You have to get your hand round the corner behind the top of the steering wheel. I had my bro hold a torch so I could see what was going on. It took quite a while tho.

    Hope this helps, probably not!

Oh and btw when I put the dash back I left those two screws out, they really aren't needed that much and I guessed it would save me a lot of hassle when I come to take the thing apart again...

did mine in posideion blue!! this included door pull surrounds, speker covers, door pockets, fan surrounds, mirror adjust covers, dash console.

I sanded it down with wet and dry, 1 layer of primer, 3 layers of paint and 4 layers of laquer and they look sweet as, well worth the time!
