Little Mods?

   Hello Guys!
   
   I have £230 spare, and i fancy spending that on a few small bits and pieces for my car, to make it look that little bit sweeter! Any ideas what i can do, at the moment it is just a stock R reg maroon 1.1 SX...recommend a something and then link it for me?

   Ah right, about alloys, where is a cheap place to get some alloys online, excluding eBay, i hate the place and have had a few bad experiences!!

   3 studs are harder to come by... [well for a decent set anyway].
   I really would just keep looking on here and ebay [eventhough you said you don't really like it]... If you were to buy them from a shop, I'd think they'd be more than your £230 budget....

    I will take some photos tonight and see what people think!! Yeah i just noticed that! i was thinking about becoming a premium member anyway but that has just persuaded me more!

    put the £230 away in the bank.
    
    will be the best thing to do, you will only devalue the car by taking bits off adding bits to it

    I've just got an S reg 1.1 X, first car, kinda the in-between until I'm 18 and can afford a VTS (and the insurance ) I don't want to spend loads on it so I'm going with things that can be taken off again so I can resell it as bog standard and either reuse them or sell them on. So far I'm working on a cleaning kit ...haven't cleaned it yet though (still waiting for my clay bar and trim restorer) but that's something I would get whatever car I had!! Bought some crystal black jewels and repeaters, going to get some custom door badges from chris-IOW, footwell neons and that's about it. I might lower it but it's a big lay out money wise, same with the alloys, don't want to pay out for 3 stud really. Got a good amp and sub kit and was going to invest in some components but I don't know about that coz I'd have to leave them in when I sold it. I don't think it's worth getting an induction kit, apart from making it sound a bit better it's not going to do much else lol.

    i had a saxo 1.1 b4 my nu car, i speant about 500 on it in total, on the sound system and sum lites and an exhaust!!! the thing i wish i had dun most, which would have made it look way better would have been the alloys!! they change the whole look of the car!! tha uva guy is rite keep ur eyes out for sum nyc alloys and snap em!!

    o yer dnt worry about performance on a 1.1 it ent worth it!! saxo 1.1s are one of da nipiest small cars i came accross i only lost a cuple of races in mine, and it was standard!! pisses all ova corsa's and ka's haha

    i have also just bought an X reg 1.1 and was thinking about what i should do with it? Was thinking about a subtle bodykit but dunno wat 1's look best.... any ideas folks?
