Good or Bad Idea???

    Hey guys,

Well we all no drving with your spotlights on is illegal (unless its foggy of corse!) and also just looks abit gay!

Really i never use mine, only when on very dark roads to help a little, dont really bother when its foggy!

Anyways, i no the bulb is a H1 fitment, and im considering getting some 130w H1 rally bulbs to go in, jst for when im on some dark back roads, where the no street lights for miles in any direction.....

    Good or bad idea????

Also can they be angled up a little bit as they dont point straight ahead really, they are angled down towards to road...

    Anyone????

No point mate, aren't they off-road use only aswell? They can't be angled either.

    Hope that helps.

Get them wired up to main beam.

then they will come on at the same time so you don't have to fanny around turning them on and off all the time.

Yea they are off road use only, but being the oly ca around for miles might aswell be the same thing lol

I would not have a clue how to wire them up to the main beam lol and would still like the option to turn them on and off etc etc

Just thought it would be abit diff, you can get the cool blue ones aswell....

I reckon it would improove thing vision wise aswell even if they dont point as far ahead as the headlights.....

When i asked ABP motorsport about upgrading the fog light bulbs they said it was pointless as the standard fog light lenses were crap so you wouldnt get much better performance from them.

However, blue ones would look cool.

If you do get them I'm sure you don't have to replace or upgrade any of the wiring or switches mate.

Go for it then mate, if you did get pulled I reckon you'd only get a warning anyway as it's minor, could just say you've just come from a car show - nothing they can do tbh

Well basically they have 80w, 90w, 100w, 110w and 130w headlight bulbs and they same for foglights but also have a 7500k blue/purple bulb for foglights, so was maybe considering getting a HID kit and the goflight bulbs to complete it......

Dont no if i should risk that, altho i could just claim that was on the car whe i bought it and i didnt think anything of it, how would i now officer... lol

Im good with my words when its comes to the plod!
