#2Hi mate have a search on the pics section. Theres a few turbo`d and `charged saxos out there just drop them an e-mail. Simo has got a turbo`d VTS so ask him some q`s.
Turbos have lag as they take time to get into boost from the exhaust gases whereas `chargers are belt driven so have instant power/boost.
The arguments could go on for weeks with OPINIONS about either modification so I would ask people with the upgrade personally. -
#3superchargers also suffer "lag" but in a different form. Once a turbo has spooled it is hitting full boost from that point until the limiter (or gear change etc...) A supercharger makes boost from the word go but it does not make full boost until peak revs so it kinda suffers "lag" all the way through the rev range in a backwards sort of way

#4as above, a large turbo will have laf ie T3 or above. A superchargers power is progressive so at say 3k it might show 3psi, then 4k it will show 6psi etc. with a T25/T28 etc, it would show full boost (you could set this at 1 bar if you wanted) from 3k all the way to the limiter. If you ever see the RR graphs (GMC do have some of simos and a s/c car) through the rev range. it shows the Turbo making more power/torque all the way, in simos case until high revs (in simos case the turbo is restricted at the higher revs so power drops off, a problem hes sorting
)

#5Simo has posted a topic on here with the pros and cons for Turbos's and Charger's, its well worth reading and tells you all you want to know
but i think its personal preference in which one you would like some people say chargers are better and some say Turbos its all discombobulating tho aint it
lol
