What Comps ? (NEW, about 6x9)

    has been said before in Gen Chat but goin to look for sum in Halfords tomoz as everything booked in to be installed on Friday

    have got Kenwood Amp, twin 10" vibes an kinda basic Sony head unit but not sure if gonna be upgrading (HU)

    any suggestions for the front comps to go along with what iv got would be greatfull

    Budget around £40-£55

    Mutant 13's are about £35 from Halfords, Rather good quality actually. Mate of mine has a full mutant install, and it does sound sweet.

    do you have to re wire the hole lot or can you just disconnect the standard ones an plug them in ? hav got an amp for them aswell

    can plug into original wiring then tweeters run of the speaker itself.

    ok will try them out then, been listenin to Pioneers (dont know which ones) what is verdict about them ?

    just tell me if this is soundin stupid now but reading about how much of a pain it is to get to back speakers and no point in replacing them, could you jsut get 6x9s to use instead of them ?

    6x9's prob wont go in your shelf as that huge sub box will hit them everytime the shelf comes down.

    well i checked how much space there was when the hatch was down an its will git fine with a couble of inches to spare, jsut dont know where to put the amp, suggestions to where i can put that ? side of the box ?

    room infront of box. On a slanted raised floor, So amp leans towards you??

    never buy anything from halfords its a rip off, use a online site much cheaper, my cd player is 80 quid more in halfords

    ended up fitting the Amp ontop of the box as no room anywhere els for it to fit lol

    yeah i burnt me fingers with Halfords and have learnt me lesson

    ive seen my cd player in halfords for 230 or sumthin i got it for 115 delivered off the net!!!
