98 Gti Engine Into an 02 Quiksilver

   Right,
   
   I bought a gti engine off a friend for £50 a month ago! And because i have a 2002 quiksilver i was wondering if i could run a 3 plug ecu on the gti engine even though its from a 1998 gti with single plug ecu if u know wot i mean?
   
   Could i get away with 3 plug ecu and loom on an 1998 gti engine?

   if you get an 02 gti wiring loom then it will work
   
   but its harder to get a single plug to work with 3 plug.........

   you could if you had the 98 gti dash as well saves you haveing to wirer it

   If i was running a 3 plug ecu dash then it wouldnt need wiring right? as i want to run a 3 plug ecu!
   What is the main problem with running a 3 plug ecu on a single plug enigne?

   Sensors will also need changing

   Thats not a problem tbh, i can pick up sensors cheap through a friedn at motorfacts!

   i wouldnt bother personally. get a three plug engine, make life that much simpler.
