how do you get the inners off just tap then off with a hammer and chesel? my beam was a pain in the arse the torsion bars where seized and the bolts sherd off the arb plates! i had to retap them.

im just replaceing the outer and inner seals as the bearings seem ok.

lever them off with a screwdriver mate.

also boz i can't see any bearings on that price list? costs about £70 just for the bearings and seals nowadays
  13. #13
it got all 4 seals for £22
  14. #14
yeah, that's a lot though when you think about it. if you knew how much they paid

cost about £50k to build a saxo with new parts from shitroen

anyway yeah when you've got the arm off put a flat blade inside the seal and lever it against the other side. don't hit the new seal all the way on or it won't butt up against the beam just tap it on lightly and when you put the torsion bars in and tap the arm on fully it will move the seal into the right position.

yea i know i work for ford and a couple of seals like that would be about a quid each!
    citreon parts are bluddy expensive!

the bearings are in that kit matey.
you get 4 bearings for the trailing arms, 2 inner seals, 2 outer seals and 2 spacers.
thats defo the list you want from citroen, as i have just fitted them

ive had a few kits from them now, they used to be around 65quid, but have gone up to around 70ish now.

i can take pics of them if you dont believe me?

best way to get the seals out is to tap them with a screw driver and a hammer, dont do the same to put them in though lol
make sure that you grease the inner lips of the seals when you fit them, that helps to stop nicking the seals and damaging them.

if you shop about, you could get the same seal from a different company that is alot better and made out of a better material like nitrile. but its a pain in the arse looking for seals that way lol
