Pretty sure this is a flywheel removal job... easier to get it done but costs more for what is a pretty cheap part. Depends on ur money situ and how good with spanners u r mate TBH. Remember the clutch will be contaminated too so budget for a clutch as well.

Cost depends on who does it.

well im a bus mechanic so shud be fine but havin the room and space to do it mite be a problem.i do have another problem tho.theres a slight banging noise every so ofter sounds like a starter motor sticking(not big ends cuz that would happen all the time),i think this cuz it doesnt want to engage most of the time but i do get the bloody thing started.but any ideas how long it would take to do?

Get it up high as u can and its easier. Space is the problem, weight of stuff wont be if u work on busses. I would set a saturday aside to do it properly but get all the bits u need (or mite need) before u start. Easier with a spare pair of hands too.

Yeh, gearbox off, clutch off, flywheel off. Then you'll see the seal.

They way i've found best to change one is:

drill two holes either side of it, and self tap two screws in it, then leave a bit of the head out, then pull the screw with pliers.
