i go to a scarap yard alot and always gettin bits and bobs for my saxo, other day fella came up to me n sed here u go mate had these in a back a while do u want them - spacers for saxo wheels, just wonderin does anyone think i shud out them on my car? its been lowered 50mm and has standard vts wheels on, anyone else got this? jus wondering if it wud rub or not. also thinkin about jus puttin back ones on n leavin fron ones off, wot does everyone think?

    I wouldn't.
As the VTS wheels you have are Citroen specific (how Citroen wanted it to be). Theres no point spacing them out further, as they will prob be close to rubbing.
What size spacers are they ?

May be best to try them.

be careful of tyre wall protruding from arches (as this is MOT fail)
Also make sure it doesnt rub near outer arch when turning, or over bumps.

do i need longer wheel nuts to put spacers on or not?

quite possibly mate. Dependant on width of spacers.
Just have to see when you try it.
Generally, up to about 8/10mm should be ok with standard wheel nuts.
I'm on standard size with 6mm spacers

i think they are 10mm, just wonder how do you go about sticking them on? is it as simple as it seems? im thinkin u just put them behind the alloys and then put alloys on, is this the case?

the hub has a ridge that these wil sit on.. Bit of Copper grease behind them aswell (very little) will stop them rusting on, but will hold them in place nicely.

il have a look later this week wen i have ago, wot ut hink bout just puttin back ones on, you think this will look any good?

no need unless on non-disced models.
When I had rear drums the 6mm spacers helpeed to stop the inner arch rubbing. Haven't got any on front as they are spaced out enough already.
