#2Alot of insurance companys are not really fussed about diff seats and if they are it wont effect your premium to much tbh
As for using harnesses with standard seats, i would not do it, has no where the slot thru really so could come loose in a heavy impact and is just not safe..
Up to you tho at the end of the same, but you would not see me doing it, plus it looks gay with standard seats lol -
#3ive got harnesses on standard seats an ive had no problem even passed mot

#4i was thinking 3 point harnesses, where have u got em mounted to 3cott? cheers for the help fellas.

#5i think it looks just a bit odd with harnesses on standards

#6Be careful with race harnesses as most are not road legal. Be positive to get a road legal set or retain your original belts and then you can still pass a MOT.
I would not recommend fitting harnesses to the standard seat. The seat is simply not up to the job and in an accident they will most likely do more damage than good.
If you do want harnesses fit them to full MSA standard along with a approved seat.
