#13You could use perspex and neon light it up possibly with mirrors. It should give it a crystal sort of effect.
-
#14sounds like a good idea deffo using neons got 2 speakers to so will use them just need another sub
-
#15Audio is about listening not looks!

make it sound good first, look good second!
-
#17you will have to do more than put 3 subs and a games console to make it look rate good tbh!!!!
all been done before.. -
#18i no thats why i asking people what they think i can do so i can kind of put them all 2gether
-
#19as coonper said audio means listen not looks
1 decent sub rather than 2 cheaper subs will be better, i have 2 subs and disconnected one and there isnt much difference, the difference could be made up with one decent sub
also try a search for install pics, theres a few kicking about
what the hell though this is my install

and door pods

#20also.. in terms of mounting subs.. the size of box that it will be in is crucial to a good sound

this is key in a boot build shape / size -
#21This is often overlooked when people build boxes, but the box has a bigger emphasis on the sound than the sub! Hard to believe but its true!Quote:also.. in terms of mounting subs.. the size of box that it will be in is crucial to a good sound

You could have a 2 grand sub, and a 2 grand amp. If its not in the right box and not set up properly it would be beaten hands down in therms of quality and output by a set up that costs £400!
Take a look at "modified's" install! Hes a gone for a happy medium.
