Hey, i want to know will i get 16's on a 1.1 Mk1 without any work done on the arches?
16" on a 1.1
-
#1
-
#2... as im bored of 15's, lol
-
#3wont go mate.
Will have to get alot of archwork done. -
#415's are a pain in the ass, i ended up sticking 5mm spacers on the back, and belt sanding the arch, and smacking the fuck outta it. still want it lowered tho
-
#5go for it, the work u put in more chance init, look at the saxo on 20s!!
-
#6i think u can get a 195/45 tyre on 16's if i'm not mistaken and i cant see y they shouldn't fit
-
#7anythins possible but would require lots of archwork. ive sanded my rear arch on 15s and it still rubs with 2 in the back. so 16s wd need a lot of work!!
-
#8they will be a big pain in the ass mate!
-
#9ive got 15" compomotive which are 7 1/2 inches wide and that rubs sometimes.
-
#10if you get 16s with 195/40s they are essentially the same rolling radius as 15s with 195/45s so should be fine i reckon!
-
#11as john said
16's with 195/40 profile will fit on the same as 15's wth 195/45
and for 15's all you need is to bend a little lip
ive nevebr heard of cutting the arches for 15's
i also have comp mo's

#12i have 16s with 195/40 tyres and just need a very small amount of arche work just near the rear bumper.
