#12I'm down 50mm all around with the Bilstein B8 Sprint Shock Absorbers + Eibach 50mm Springs from KamRacing.
Went to ABP Motorsport to have it done, nearly 6 hours there and back though but very much worth it.
Only had it done since last Tuesday but so far so good, had the car full and been over bumps to check it out and it's fine, drove 3 hours back from Crewe with a full set of steelies in the back and my mate in the front and was fine, no rubbing/scraping!
Loving it!
Here's a very quick pic, aint got any decent pics as of yet, will do soon!

#13when you get cars lowered they always settle a bit more than the springs dont they ie 40mm springs will settle at 45mm ish

#21I like the red one better
Cant wait till august tho, we will have ur new one just like ur old one!!! If not better!!! -
#24I think that i will end up going 50mm it just sits so much nicer at that height imo. i think i could prob get away with just using the standard shocks but i dont think i want to risk it
-
#26Had mine lowered yesterday...

What you all think? -
#27LOL, wrong picture, oh well it'll now be a before and after...
-
#28what is it 50mm mate??
-
#30yer it looks well nice mate. did you have new shocks or was it just the standard ones
-
#31

Mine 45mm on vts alloys. Did have vtr ones but with the 55 tyre on the vtr ones they are the same diamiter. -
#32Im goin 60mm with gmaxx springs on standard shocks, till i get my raceland coilies, reckon i'll rub a dub scrub?
-
#33Think it may be a bit bbbouncy lol. Just wach out tho, my mrs got 55mm gmax for hers and mine is still lower with 45 springs lol.
-
#34lol! are they hard to change?
also how major a job is it to fit coilies? -
#35Shocks are easy to change you just need a stilsons to take the cap off that holds the shock on. Not sure about coilovers as i havent fitted them yet but i imagion thay aint that bad.
-
#36i was told mines 35mm

-
#37tahts alor more than 35 on the rear in 2nd pic lol! 3rd obviously inaccurate coz parked on a hill
-
#38yer that looks more like 40mm-45mm. on my 02 plate would it be alright to use standard shocks?
-
#39
-
#40i so want to just get some decent springs and use my old dampers. what you lot think
-
#41Usually people say and i belive, any lower than 35mm uprate the shocks aswel or it can become bumpy and they will wear out a lot quicker (leak)
-
#42Mine should be fine...only temp till i buy and fit the raceland coilies
-
#43gunna have to get shocks, dont want to do damage to the car
