lamba sensors where r they vts conversion

    i need help were are lamba sensors i need to know if theres 2 or 1 as if theres 2 i have a vts mk2 engine and if 1 i have a mk1 vts engine as im doing conversion and not sure what engine i have got please help

    wahhh, very confusing post.

    Mk1 vts = single plug ecu
    mk2 vts = 3 plug ecu.

    you dont need to mess about with lambda sensors but FYI theyre in the exhaust manifold and the 2nd is after the cat iirc.

    hi well its just im trying to work out if my saxo is a vts mk1 or mk2 im not sure what reg car it came out on mate

    EGR valve?

    Pretty sure this was the cut off point for single lambda.
    Might be wrong though.

    where is the egr valve and what is a egr valve

    Exhaust gas recirculation valve.

    If you have one it will be located above the exh manifold.
    Would post you a picture but mines a mk1 vts engine so no egr.

    Post a pic of the engine might make it easier for us to determine which one you have.

    i think its supposed to have one on but never came with one if u can see 2 bolts above manifold

    Yep certainly looks like it, if you can get the engine code and your friendly with citroen they should be able to clarify this.

    i tried calling them up today reckon they need reg of car it cam from anythink else what stands the mk2 from the mk1
