Eurocarparts of a local motorfactors... Or Halfords if your really struggling!

Mintex 1144s (i think they are called) are my recommendation and avoid greenstuff pads, not only are they less efficient at braking they make a f*cking mess of your alloys daily

you will notice the difference with some Mintex 1144's as Mystic has said but tbh you'd be better saving your cash and going for a brake upgrade to either the 266mm setup or the 283mm setup.

    Hi Mark

appreciate what you have said and yes i will be looking at a bigger brake upgrade most likely towards the end of the year, but for the time being i just want some uprated pads, so im guessing the mintex 1144's are looking a safe bet

i disagree on that one good bubby imo mintex squeal like a bastard and tbh i cant be arsed putting up with any extra noises from saxos -of any motor for that matter - the wife has ebc green and there pretty good not had any probs with them, and no break dust probs either - depends on how heavy you use that right pedal!!!!!!

    oh my other choice ferrodos

scotty - green stuff are sh*t mate, i have had them on mine and other people i know have had them on their saxo's/106's. the dont warm up quick enough to allow them to work at their correct temperature which then in turn glazes the pads and ends up warping the disc's.

the last thing you want is to need to stop quickly and you cant, no matter how hard you brake. this is talking from experience and most people will agree and reccomend people to stay away fro, green stuf for the saxo.

I've not found better than these..

not very well known in this country but used by many a race team

The profile listed on the site at the moment is a mild race grade. And suitable for fast road use too

    Frodo's...

    - Id go with DS2500's, no squeal i love mine and really impressed me round track too

Mintex M1144's are an option on there aswell at around £7 cheaper.
Please dont go for EBC's. Other brake upgrades like a 266mm GTI setup are great.
Something to think about for the future lol

Have a looky at this mate...
