lowered torsion bar, one side higher? help!

    recently had my car lowred by well lane turbos. i asked for a 40mm drop. i went to pick the car up an the passenger side rear looks just right about 40mm but the drivers side rear is about 15mm-20mm higher than the other side? i asked wot had gone on and they got rather defensive an said thts just how saxos are! they said they wud do it again an drop it more but it wud cost another 80 quid! thet swear they dropped it one spline each side but they cant of done or it wud be level surely? any help or advice wud be much appriciated!

    cant drop a saxo using the spline method!!
    completely inaccurate! and causes more wear on the rear axel in general

    we do it the PROPER way and replace any busted seals at the same time
    we charge 80 + seals on top but do it properly soooo.......

    also i would ring up garage and get your money back!! be very blunt and push for the cash!

    we can prove to them that they have dont it the wrong way but need your car to prove it!

    cheers mate. i did actually sat to the guy that ur supposed to measure the distance in drop or the car wont sit right. the just started carrin on about they av 30 years of mechanicing experiance an that i dint av a clue how torsion bar suspension works! the cheeky fuckers! i work on cars every day an i wud lower the car my self coz i no hoe to do it all but i avnt got any ramps or owt to work off. to be honest im quite pissed off about it all. seen as i dont av the equipment or time to do it my self i av to use garages but i ant been to 1 who actally knows wtf they are doin!
    i wud come to ur garage but i live in halifax so it wud be a massive treck an ive just replaced seals an eveythin etc. cheers for ya help mate

    be sure to keep trying to get your money back!!

    tell the bloke who did it to come on this forum and we will prove to him that the spline method is completely wrong and then hopefully you will get your money back!

    dont give in!
    if he doesnt tell him you'll take him to small claims court if your that skint like me and hopefully that will shock him into it!
