Brake Help!

   I've got a Saxo 1.1x 1998 S-reg. The brakes on it are shit tbh. I've heard they're not the best brakes anyway but can anyone tell me what brakes I have ...maybe part number etc, and recommend what to get if I replace them.

   Might be 247mm front discs. You'll have drums on the back.
   
   Good upgrade are the 306 GTI-6 283mm discs (though the callipers might not fit under your standard wheels).

   youll have the 232 iirc
   i did on my 1.1
   
   im swapping to 247s off a vtr
   should be quite ample for the 1.1
   
   266 or 283s would be pointless on a car with such little power
   on a vtr/s yes but not a 1.1

   lol, some fcukwit negged me for asking this ...get a life dude! I did search!!! All the way through the "Saxo Brakes, suspension and transmission FAQ's (please read before posting)" ...Just couldn't find what I was looking for ...duh! Perhaps helpful advice or pointing me in the right direction would have been more constructive than "SEARCH FOR GODS SAKE"
