rough cost of spraying bumpstrips?

   looking at getting my bumpstrips, grill and mirrors sprayed gloss black, how much should i be looking at being charged as i dont want to be ripped off. thanks. daz

   would say around £100, just shop around and get some qoutes

   I reckon you could do your bump strips yourself mate but get the grill and mirrors done professionaly
   
   for all 3 of them i reckon around £240-£300 sounds right

   sorry for spamming, i was thinking of doing it myself how much roughly for all the bumpstrips mirrrors, spoiler and my wheels. how many cans etc and prices. cheers

   i reckon about 5 cans mate, get them from halfords
   
   about £5 each
   
   but if you want official citroen colours youd need to pay a little more

   i'm doing mine this weekend... easy enough job if you got a haynes manual to take bumpers off alot cheaper way haha

   tbh you will want some filler as well or youll end up with the nobbly bits on the strips but up to you

    what sandpaper do u recamend was thinking about 1200 or 1500 grit, do u need that special plastic paint or can u just use any paint?

    Yea did mine got through 4 cans , and the Haynes manual is like my bible, read before going to bed and learn something new everyday :Y:

    use plastic primer, should be ok with normal spray don't take my word for it

    tbh i would have ago at doing the bumpstrips urself, a gd place to get ur paint from is: www.a1autowise.com they match up ur paint code exactly in tins or cans. go for it.
