gearbox help

   hi all. the garage have told me my diff bearings are noisy and my driveshaft seal is leaking which i gather is the result of it popping out the gearbox side when i had it lowered and yes i did fill it back up lol . now my question is if i just filled the oil and changed the seal would it be all good ? its only done 70,000 aswell so wasnt expecting it to go just yet lol or is it deffo a new box ? any suggestions what box to get ? im on a bit of a budget so nothing to extreme

   Diff bearings are noisy due to wear caused by a low oil level. They MAY quieten down if you replenish the oil, then again they may not. In time, the gears will pack up too if you don't rectify it. If you're on a very low budget replace the leaky seal for now and see how you get on.
   
   Always remember kids, oil is cheaper than bearings

   it had been filled with oil, then obviously started leaking
   now the noise. ill give it a try
