My VTR has started to stall mostly if its cold out and the engine management light comes on sometimes, at junctions when you accelerate off it misfires, need to keep the revs high to stop it happening. It has misfired when changing gears on the motorway aswell. Haynes manual says it could be a few things i.e. vacuum leak at throttle body..... Has anyone else experienced this do they know what it is and how easy to fix, whats it going to cost me??? HELP!
Is this a major problem????

#2sounds like it could be the TPS or Map sensor. Search on here and should find similar problems and details...

#4my vtr has had similar problems whilst under warranty, a friend of mine also got a vtr and has had no problems (he doesn't know how to drive a car) the citroen dealers have now changed the ignition coils twice within the past tweleve months, and the last time also changed the spark plugs, this seemed to have stopped the problem (but the car has been serviced by them and the plugs changed less than six months ago so i think they arn't telling me the truth),also i have noticed that the post cooling ( the fan coming on after you have got out of the car) hasn't worked since the first service (nor has my friends) but yet after i stop the engine it is pinging (to hot) i thought it was due to the wheather but this year has been warmer than when i bought the car (when it worked) the dealers try to say that some versions don't have post cooling, but i know mine did (first car i'de had that made me jump when i got out of it).so who do you listen too? (the experts?)
