  4. #4
u did better than me i couldnt even get to the rear speakers
  5. #5
if you really must have the rear speakers then your going to have to cut the door card, cut out the material area and use some 6mm mdf cut to size, the door card will hold it rather snuggly in place once retrimmed

what cut the middle part out including the speaker part then just mdf into it with a hole for speaker?

looks spot on that, altho iv found some 10cm speakers with tweeters so im gona invest inthem!

nice mate im liking the idea, so its just 6mm mdf cut tp shape, and how its stuck on? screws n glue? also my back components didnt come with cross-overs or grills, can you buy grills for them seperatly? and do i need cross-overs for my tweeters to work? (poor knowledged on sound systems at the moment, but hey gotta start somewhere)
  15. #15
your set may have inline crossovers im not to sure what the E type. Its 6mm mdf, cut about an inch and a half larger than the hole, the door card holds it in place perfectly, if you wanted you could screw it to the metal behind

e type does support tweeters as i have them in the front, i think they sound pretty good aswell seein as they only cost 30!
  17. #17
i got a 16 inch set for the front with cross-overs and tweeters.

i tried but couldn't get the covers off?!?!? how u get the covers off?

bottom of rear seats out, lift rubber along door and window, unbolt bottom seat belt bolt. Get fingers under and prise.

If you want to take the card out completely, unbolt bottom of front seatbelt and the mid point on the B pillar, feed it through the hole.
