gd gd, make sure you get the manifold to get the cat away!
  6. #6
what like get a 4-1 manifold if so will this connect straight to the downpipe or will i still need a straight through pipe to get rid of the cat.

personly i wouldnt consider cams before manifold(4-2-1 not 4-1) try raceland or supersprint. then youll need a descent air filter, something enclosed like raceland

with a piper 285 cam kit ad vernier pulley i made 122bhp on the rr after it was mapped with basic breather mods. so i would say piper.

to help the engine overall you should run some descent breather mods.

if you get a new manifold (personally only go for supersprint 4-2-1) then you take away the cat anyway as it is incorperated into the manifold on the mk2 versions. kill 2 birds as they say!

you need to set it up so the cam you get has peak power where you want it, so the manifold would be chosen by that decision.

    high end power = 4-2-1

    low end/mid power - 4-2-1

then you choose your cam shaft to match

do you mean high end 4-1 lol

raceland do a descent manifold too but yea supersprint is the best.

    typo sorry!

supersprint has better welding doesnt it? or is it just the name that makes it more expensive!

alround better, isnt made from tin foil either, but does the trick

supersprint is better quality and build but im sure you would never see any difference n the two once on the car
