strut braces

   hi there guys
   got a phase 2 vtr and fitted a sparco strut brace today, i had to tamper with the fuel cut off switch just by the supension mounts, has anyone had to do this and could they tell me how they did it? cheers

   remove it , re-drill another mount, put back lower down.

   ha, my mate decided to take off the red cover and the white box holding the metal connection, and put a piece of wire in between the 2 connectors to keep it running,seems to have worked for now

   hmm..
   be careful. Slightest knock from something will cause the fuel to 'cut-off'

   Hmm me too, just re-locate i moved mine to next to the black fuse box. secured wiv good old cable ties.... done!

   sorry to but how do you undo the fuel cut off by the way, i nearly pressed it the other day by accident

   Westy, how do they come undone? Not had to do mine with my E-tec.

    they come undone with a screw.... just had a look at mine... wot i did to start wiv was undo 1 screw and let it tilt slightly so the strut brace can fit then screw it in that position with just the other screw tightly.... this also will do nicly....
