Mk1 & Mk2 tailgates the same?

   they are not exaclty the same.. the colour is differnt the mk1 are tinted slightly.
   
   what you mean the spoiler holes? where it attaches to the tailgate?

   Mk2 bolts through the rear window - two holes in the glass
   Mk1 is attached to the tailgate itself - usually bonded on!

   Yeah at the top of the glass.
