    Thanks Wilson, have some rep

With manifolds and such you do have to keep gains in perspective. Often people concentrate too much on peak bhp and lose site of the other benifits which are equally as important.

Improved throttle responce, improved low and midrange power, smoother power delivery..

and you will get gains at the top end as well. Well worth the money IMO. Improve the exhaust and add other engine mods and the potential for the engine is greater still. No point in doing those if the o/e manifold strangles the engine.

raceland ind, mainfold, supersprint centre section + quickshift all off kam for £300ish plus postage it comes to a total of £328

you cant lose really tbh a very good deal i have no idea regarding costs of fitting it
  18. #18
pat.. all those parts are able to be done by yourself. Get a decent trolley jack and 2 axle stands from Halfords and get stuck in

lol thats pretty much what ill be getting, but ill be geting a full supersprint system but not from kam

i know this is a bit of a hijack but how much difference does the quickshift make?
and what does it actually do? i thought it just made the distance you have to push the gear stick shorter?
but then i dunno how that would affect performance
  20. #20
It basically makes the distance you have to shift with your hand shorter, so it feels like you're going from first to neutral but it's actually second...

Shorter gearchange times. Will eventually ruin your gearbox though...
  21. #21
They don't ruin your gearbox unless you don't use the clutch properly.

it needs welding i know that much but i'l do the rest
  23. #23
so will a quickshift make much of a difference?
also are they hard to fit and is there a guide on here?
  24. #24
    yes it comes with instructions

apparently piss easy to fit so... just attempt it yourself im just going to lol
