    Not alot tbh mate..

You would need a cam and map or strip it abit..

My old Westy was stripped and it would hang onto a VTR until around 75-80mph then the extra torque and power of the VTR would mean it pulled away..

hmm whats the difference between a standard furio and vtr in 0-60...anyone know?
and how many secs does an inuction kit and exhaust make ur car do 0-60 in?
  4. #4
cheapest way would probably be to buy a vtr engine i think. Otherwise its a lot of money and work to tune a 1.4 with 75bhp up to 100bhp

    hmm i want a vtr

    vtr 0-60 mph 9.1 s

    furio 0-60 mph 11.2 s

all the info on the cars in on parkers

    whack a vtr lump in
  8. #8
but people on here before have sed a vtr does more 10secs than 9 like it says on parkers...

    MK2 VTR is 9.1 to 60..

    I would love a cammed 1400 tbh..7k+ rpm in a 1400..Uber cool imo!!

    lol...hmm, have u measured ur 0-60 before?
  11. #11
no..Its just a fact..Citroen and other places have tested it at 9.1..

cos if ur on a road and a car infront turns off and u have to accelerate off, u want to be able to accelerate fast from 0-60 and drop every one behind

lol i wouldnt bother dropping a vts engine in, buy a vts lol. what would happen if you dropped a different engine in? i dont understand because the log book would be wrong and what would you do when it had its mot?

You declare the VTS conversion maybe?

Also lol @ leaving everybody behind when a car turns off... all they'll think is "what a prick, hope that was worth wasting his petrol for, to try and impress me a 60 year old man"
  21. #21
oh right so you can actually declare conversions. i didnt know that. i dont know much about cars lmao. bet it changes insurance premiums a good bit

power to pull away from other cars = torque. Turbos best for that if you want to keep the 1400. If i were you ide drop a vtr in as the others said.

Failing that stripping out most of the interior will make a noticeable difference to 0/60
