Where is the black immobiliser box located?

   Just sorting out a GTi engine conversion, and trying to unlock the ECU -where is the immobiliser box located? Am I right in thinking it's under the ECU itself?

   nope, its behind the fuse box under the passenger side of the dash.
   
   ive got a pic of it somewhere.

   It's right up under the dash, around 1/2 to 3/4 of an arms length inside dash behind fuse box passenger side - as ^^^^^ said
