smoothing grill

   could i smooth the standard grill and smooth it into the bonnet like baz and david kent have done?
   
   id have to cut the chevrons and slats out....not to hard....

   havea chat to them mate, i was asking baz and he said he wouldnt do it, basically it may start to crack over time, iopening and closing the bonnet causes it
   
   id ask about ng it done in metal, a decent panel beater should be able to do this, its the only way i would do it tbh

   mines guna be on bonnet pins anways, so it wont need to be slammed closed,

   the bonnet tends to flex quite a bit when opening and closing so you would need to be very careful for it not to crack.

   i was asking about it when was booking car in for bodyshop and he said it would crack over time and to much hassle for what its worth

   i like this look to sure it would be better to just buy a new bonnet thats made without the grill like the cf ones or somet

   tbh i just want it done, so that i can get someone to make a CF version of it, as a friend has just had a CF bonnet made using his bonnet as a template/mould....
